India v England ODI Series (and token T20) **spoilers**

Well done India. 3 more wins and I'll be happy.

3 or 4 fielding errors in a single game still leaves us about 300 errors behind India after their time in England.
Not that I'm counting or anything ;)

There's been about 10 errors today ;)

India's been known to suck at fielding. Whereas England have always been hyped as brilliant fielders. In the test series, the fielding was brilliant from England, except I thought the slip catching sucked. Today it's been all over the place.

Somebody's a lot more active in the cricket threads now India are winning again. ;)

I expected England to lose, but not this badly. We really aren't much cop at ODIs, are we? Home advantage, some handy rain, and a distinct lack of Indian morale got us through the previous series, but it's all coming undone now. Cook's still not quite convincing at this level, Kieswetter just doesn't seem to have a point to him, and our previously batting-strong tail just, well, isn't.

I'd be happy if we actually made the full 50 overs in our batting next match, never mind whether it's actually a competitive total or not.

I agree with you sigma. The only redemption I'll get is if they beat England in a test series in England (the next one is 2014). They've treated the series in England like a freak accident. Whilst I'd love to believe it, the fact is that they turned up deservedly being the best test team in the world, and then they got raped. They can't just brush it off, that's not good for their cricket. I don't blame the players as much as I blame the management tbh.

Yeah, I'd quite happily sacrifice all of these ODIs for even just a two-game test series in India. I just have absolutely no faith in our 50 over side, whereas a test would be a fantastic contest.
