hey guys

im trying to set up a paypal account

ive added my bank details and it said that 2 small amounts of money would be put into my account so they know im the bank account owner

i did this on saturday and still have not had the 2 small payments put into my account

some people say it should go into my account instantly

any ideas?

3-5 working days , banks are closed on sundays aswell so expect it to show on your statment around weds/thurs at best

btw if you try to do the verification about 10 million times your onto a get rich slow scheme

i did it twice because i thought it hadnt worked the first time like maybe i got my bank details wrong or something i ended up without about £1 from paypal in total :D

maybe they send smaller amounts now though it used to be anywhere from 1-100 pence
 
It'll take a few days (they should e-mail when it's done), but one thing I should advise you do once this has been done is to check with your bank to make sure they've sent the direct debit instruction to the bank since they didn't do this with mine and all hell broke loose after I tried to make my first money transfer from my bank account to my paypal account.
 
hi again guys

quick question

my mate said that the deposits should show instantly (as in my balance would increase by a few pence)

but nothing yet.

i had the email saying that the deposits have been sent on the 16th but still not change with my bank balance.

(this is for the verifacation thingy)

any ideas?

dont listen to your mate as they dont use instant bacs... its the slow old fashioned way which takes a few days unless your bank is the same one paypal use
 
ok so i tried adding a debit card under the add debit cards option but it wouldnt go through.

then i tried adding the same debit card to the add bank account option and it worked??

any ideas??

i put in my info correctly
