The only time I struggle with M+K is in the jets when turning hard, there is a split second where you have to lift the mouse and move it before carrying on the turn, can be annoying. Otherwise I'm happy, wouldn't use anything else.

there is a sweet spot in both speed for tight turns and also when to lift the mouse, theres a slight input delay sort of thing that keeps you turning while you lift off the mat. might be due to my high sensitivity or something but it did the same in bf2 aswell. always flew with m+k since desert combat days and prefer it over a joystick in the bf series

Minimap. FIXED! The minimap has been vastly improved and is almost on par with the map found in BF2.

Im so happy !!!! This really annoyed me so much in the beta !!!! Glad to see all the feedback / moaning by the community is being taken on board by Dice and there pulling there finger out !!!! :D

If it is a lot more like BF2 I will be so much happier.

I loved the minimap on BF2 because it was so easier to see what was going on. BF3 beta minimap I didnt even know my objectives, where to go or where my team was

Wasnt much of a pilot in bf2 or bc2 either, i could use the jets ok in bf2 with m&kb, but choppers in either game were a no no. But in joint ops my chopper skills were like murdock from the a team, best keyboard controls ever for a helicopter.

I'm going to hold off passing judgement on the minimap thing until I play it. To be honest I doubt I'll even really notice it. The only good thing about it is that it does mean the suppressors actually have a purpose now. The mini map thing would be ok if it wasn't pin point accurate, and perhaps just showed the general direction of gunfire. We'll see I suppose.

I'm so busy at the moment it's making the wait absolutely fine, I can't believe it's so close. I have the 28th off as well, I think I'm going to jizz my pants when I load into my first game.
