MSI's X79 Teased On Vortez

Looks like Vortez has got a hold of of some pics for a high-end MSi X79 board:

The 8 DIMMs probably mean it's pretty high-end, but not quite their highest as it doesn't feature quad-SLi. Take a look for yourself.

What do you think, looking forward to all that memory bandwidth on X79/Sandybridge-E?

I was one of the Lucky peeps to be at this session. It's very early days yet as the bios was in the early stages of development. I can't tell you too much because of NDA, but 1.2v for the 3960x @ 4.7ghz 6cores 12 threads isn't bad

Usually extra power for the PCI-E slots when using multiple graphics cards.
