Forza 4

Having great fun so far. Using the CSR wheel/elite pedals is amazing but it's a huge jump from the controller. I've gone from being a pretty good controller driver to a very average wheel driver! It's starting to change though as i'm getting used to it :)

The Zonda is quite easy to control, probably because it's light and rear engined. It's very well balanced.

There's plenty of cars that are very hard to drive if that's what you want!

Very much agree, my A class elise is a right **** to tame, I have no TCS or ABS on and that car is trigger happy with its ar$e.

You go round a bend and the moment you touch the pedal to hard, you are spinning.

So much fun though!

How is this with Kinect? I read you can use Kinect to move the in-car view around by moving your hear? I'm thinking of going out right now and buying this with the Kinect sensor but i only have about 6 foot infront of the TV and thats only if i sit on the sofa... should work with that right?

ANYONE? I want to go and buy Forza + Kinect right NOW :p

I just need to know if 6 foot of space is enough for Kinect to work OK with this game.

Head tracking/virtual steering works from a couple of feet away. Autovista might need more but you can just use the pad for that.

At 6 foot you might actually have to sit closer for head tracking :p

Got the MS Speedwheel yesterday to have a go with & really impressed with it.

Took a bit of time to get used to as have always used a pad but getting there now & for a 'casual' player it certainly adds another dimension :)

My head tracking struggles with connection at about 6 ft & constantly moans about losing connection & having to move closer

Given up on it for the moment.

WOW having played 3 most the night, if 4 is that much better it must be an oustanding game. I've played GT5 hell of a lot the last month, done most of it bar the endurance and even 3 is far far better. If 4 is that much of an improvement then I am looking forward, still got loads to do on 3 so think I'm going to put my time into that before purchasing 4. Not got a wireless adapter yet for the 360 since moving so not put the console on yet alone online for most the year, think I'll get an adapter the same time.

I skipped most of the setup configuration within the dashboard for typical Kinect play. The good thing is FM4 allows you to go directly to Kinects configuration within a paused game. Great that you dont have to keep reverting back to a main menu etc.

I got it working fine at approx 3ft away. Takes a bit of messing around with the settings but easy enough to setup.

Also the voice commands work quite well but wish their were more of them. When you say Xbox it shows the commands available. Being able to say "Ferrari" for car selections would have been ace but maybe they will add more who knows.
