Hey guys,

I was happy when this poped up on Steam to Pre-order.

Batman: Arkham City is Now Available for pre-purchase on Steam! Save 20% if you own Batman: Arkham Asylum or Lego Batman.

As I do indeed own Arkham Asylum I thought sweet I'll get 20% off but when I click on the link I get this message.

An error was encountered while processing your request:

Why did you advertise it if I cannot have it?? So as I said Very Very annoyed.

Yeah this happens with new releases some times, i think they test the system or screw up some code when getting it ready, i expect it will be up in a few days.

Anyone know the score with the catwoman 'DLC' on PC? on consoles it free dlc for original copies (to try and reduce people waiting to pick it up second hand). The catwoman content is meant to be really good and changes the start of the game if you download it before starting.

yeah, looks like they have put the news post up but not updated the store. If you try and search the store for it, it doesn't even appear to be listed.

as an aside I do have the first one but not on steam, so i guess i'll miss out on the offer? But they do have it for £4.99 on there, so wonder if i can get away with ordering that first if the %20 works out more than that and get the offer that way?

then just sell/gift the first one to someone?

It's available on Steam in the US (just checked via VPN on the website store).

So, assuming it will be updated in a day or so here. Relax, still 3 weeks to release day. Plenty of time to get that 20% discount.

Why wait for a 20% discount on a game that will no doubt cost £29.99, so saving £6 with the discount, when you can by an Nvidia voucher from Ebay or the MM for £18 and activate on Steam.

its about the same price including the discount as the price they're charging on green man gaming.

and its steamworks...need I say any more.

Noticed same thing this morning, so in a fit of annoyance i took my custom elsewhere and went for a physical copy for £23.50 with free shipping :)

that will teach em :D
