I've always wondered, do people actually put there adverts there, or do the PH admins move them there for the lulz?

I'm ashamed to say that 206 is mine lol

NOT!

Showcars are a complete waste of money, I understand putting a nice set of alloys on a car and modifying the engine can be fun but a £2000 car with £20,000 worth of hardware? really? why not just buy a £22,000 car? because everyone knows that a Punto/Saxo/206/Clio with a 1.4 engine is never going to sell for £22,000 unless some celebrity used to own it

Just playing devil's advocate, but if you wait long enough your £22k car will probably sell for less than £2k, possibly less than the show car. But neither is bought with resale value being the main consideration.

The first one is an IS200 asking for RS200 money, just daft, the second, erm.. I get that the SR20DET is a good engine but you can get that power level from a supercharged RS200, and a lot more from a turbocharged IS300 lol

Its pretty correct tbh (albeit misspelt) that is a bargain for somebody who wants a car like that (the will be someone) it would cost at least 2x that to build that car.

I don't get it, you like or no like?

I like both tbh, especially the one with an SR20DET. Would've been more epic with a 3.0 V6 from a Camry or something, keeping in tune with the original car :)

the second one is pretty cool id say, at least there is some imagination with it, even if it is an odd choice of engine

The first one is an IS200 (160hp stock) chipped to 180-200hp (allegedly) with a bodykit, its slower than a standard RS200 (210hp stock) or IS300 (220hp stock) and their asking RS200 money for it, that makes it fail in my book.

The second one is odd, they have taken what was probably an IS200 and swapped in a turbo engine that makes 205hp stock and then modded it to 323hp. Now I don't deny that the SR20DET is a great engine, but the IS300 has a 2JZ-GE which if you know what your doing you can easily turbo charge past 323hp for under a grand. Its a great car no doubt but it could have been done much cheaper/easier albeit with less bragging rights.
