First thing you bought from OCUK

The first thing I *ordered* was a Sapphire x800xt-PE. This was in the days before hard releases, and they were in very short supply (little more than vapour-ware really). In the end I cancelled the order a couple of weeks later when I found a 6800Ultra in stock elsewhere.
 
First thing I remember was a pre-built PC to replace one stolen when I was burgled. It used the brand new AMD Athlon, rated at 600MHz but overclocked to 700. AMD chipset as well (there weren't any others for the Athlon at the time, as I remember). TNT2 Ultra graphics card. I was well pleased with it.

But...I already knew about OcUK, which implies that I had already bought stuff from them before. I can't remember - I bought stuff from various different places back then. I've a vague memory of buying a Cyrix 5x86-100 from OcUK...but did I buy it from from old market at Trentham Gardens instead? I'm not sure. I must have bought my 486 stuff from somewhere too, when I upgraded from my first PC.
 
Slot A Athlon 750, i think. Have still got a receipt from the same build for a voodoo 5 and disk from a competitor at the time and it was early 2000 (think they have gone out of business since!):

P3-650E guarenteed to 866mhz
Thermaltake Golden Orb cpu cooler

I got an Abit VH6 mobo and Enlight 7237 case at the same time, but I can't be sure they came from OcUK.
 
Forgot that is was the x800gto squared!!! The one that was £110 that you flashed to make it an x850 that was £210 :D

Ended up ebaying that to fund a 7800gt which lasted 5 years...

Probably an AMD K7 700 @ 850 with an Abit KA7 slot A motherboard, a Juno P6 (aqua) full tower case and a 300watt PSU from memory.

I have £600 saved up in my bank account to build a PC and I am waiting on my EMA to come through (£150) and then I can start on my build. :D

£750 build and will be my first desktop PC and finally get off this dreaded laptop and away from them low-res xbox 360 games. :D
