They are not entitled to put loads of caravans on a site without planning permission..

It's still a place to live and is well above the call of duty. Why does it matter what was offered. Nothing needs to be offered.

The council srched for suitable and available land, not only in there county. But other counties as well. Several options were offered, all were rejected. Councils can't pull suitable land out of their behinds. The offers were reasonable, far more than reasonable. The councils went out of their way to accommodate them.

And I'm pretty sure the over offer was a traveling site. They would have refused any offer. They had no intention of going anywhere.

Had you of replied with the second part instead of the first, I feel that would have been a much more suitable reply no offence intended in that statement either.

If then all possible options were exhausted, then this does look like the only option left (bar the obvious which is leaving them there but restricting growth) despite it's suitably poor conclusion.

Sometimes people need to take a stand when laws are inherently wrong or seen as such by a large group, if one group of people disagrees with another it doesn't mean they can just force them out, this is a bigger issue than just a bunch of travellers and taxes, people have a right to travel freely anywhere in the world they want, it's like racism otherwise.

Any see any issues with that. Oh wait, other than setting a prececedent and other people following just to extort money. these case are much better to go through the court system. Now next time someone tries it there is much stronger legal case for eviction to happen far sooner and easier.

I genuinely worry how we are building a country where everyone is told that they should have an opinion on everything and more emphasis is put on that than being informed and unbiased.

Even when someone has the issue explained in terms that a primary school kid could comprehend, they still cannot grasp the simplest of concepts. How do people not get embarrassed when they are repeatedly making a fool of themselves.

Why do people have such a grave issue with accepting that they are wrong. From what I have seen, its those that are wrong the most that have the most trouble admitting it.
