I didn't know it was source specific, I just did it when TF2 kept crashing after the intro vid and I thought it worked on all games on steam, never done it with others.

Maybe try verifying game cache? In guessing you already tried that though.

Total biscuit usually gives a good gameplay idea so worth checking those out

I do like tower defence style games and this appears to ad a few nice touches, I don't think I've ever played co-op in anything though so this would be new to me. Would it be a prerequisite to use headset and mic or would that be a bonus, in other words can I be mute?

FFS! Another PC port that forgot to add standard PC game options!

No vsync (and it tears big-time for me)
No invert mouse

At least you can switch vsync on in the config file:

Edit your Steam\steamapps\common\dungeon defenders\UDKGame\Config\UDKEngine.ini file and search for

UseVsync=False

and change it to

UseVsync=True

Works for me... but I shouldn't have to do it!

No sound in headset on Megaldon as it is 7.1 headset and you can't change it to stereo as it has an on-board sound card /sigh

Awesome game. The Trendynet issues are really ***** annoying though. Loads of disconnections and last time I managed to get in my character was gone. I'm hoping that that is a temporary glitch...

Yeah i just got disconnected for the 3rd time. Bit annoying :/
