Dale Farm Cleared Tomorrow?

Bring me a tent and I'll hook us up to his electricity.

Done. I actually got two extra tents. You can borrow both, bring a mate! Bring two, it's a two man tent. Hope he got trees in his back garden. Would be nice to sit around a cozy fire while listening to music at deafening volume!

We'll borrow some of his marshmallows, it's a human rights crime to not have marshmallows with a fire don't you know.

I say we make radiation's home our own! He clearly shares the view!

Heh, funny stuff but of course there's quite a bit of difference between public, private and personal space, i don't have a problem with people having their own personal space, in fact i think it's a basic human right, however there's no good argument for not allowing people to travel freely in public space and perhaps across large open areas of private land if need be.

If things were like that id probably build a boat shaped like an island anyway and travel to nicer places, i would probably let you lot camp in my old garden if you really wanted. :p

can I take a dump somewhere on his lawn too, unless he would be so kind as to let me use his washroom facilities ?

You actually are odd.

You said it yourself, they are travelers, yet they do not travel much. Infact, they like 'traveling' so much that they set fire to their own homes.

People are allowed to travel freely in general, but living on land, and building on land that you do not own (in a major sense, not something as small as a tree-house built by a ten year old) is just down right wrong.

Radiation

I'm trying to organise protestors for my neighbour and you might be the person to chain yourself to his property.
He bought it after another couple were evicted who owed £90,000 and he got the Council round to see about building an extension on the back of his house THAT HE BOUGHT CASH WITH HIS OWN MONEY SO IT IS HIS LAND ETC.
Anyway, the man from the Council looked at the building at the back of the garden (which was a garage and a nice room to the side which he was going to use for a gym and play area) and told him that the previous owner didn't have permission to build it and it must come down.
As you can see it is halfway being taken down but with your effort & knowledge of land rights I'm sure you can reverse it.

Oh yeah, he's white English with no tattoo's.

I'm a child of the Earth and I'm free to travel anywhere I'd like :)

No you are not. You are only free to travel anywhere in the UK (Or EU) you like. To travel to other countries requires the permission of that country.

You can rant and cry about that all you want, it remains fact.

/Hippie mode @ Raymond Lin

I'm a child of the Earth and I'm free to travel anywhere I'd like :)

We're all born of stars and dividing up the Earth in to separate states and fighting and having different "races" is all so petty.

We are all stars and brothers and sisters and should be able to move and settle were we like. Love and peace.

I'd like to see you use that line at the North Korea border :p

That's a shame, what a waste, all because the gov likes to have a say in what you can and can't do with your own land, at the end of the day all sorts of laws can exist but it doesn't mean they're right.

I believe in a world with a few simple rules, every living thing has the freedom of choice to do what it wants as long as it doesn't negatively affect anothers freedom of choice or cause loss/harm, each is entitled to their own personal space, an average sized house and bit of land or smaller depending on the lifeform, no closing off of large areas or encircling another as it goes against freedom of travel, everyone is free to work together for bigger goals but must not mess with nature.

It's a bit basic and needs some work but if everyone followed these simple rules the world would be a better place.

But planning permission is partly (or perhaps wholly) in place to ensure that members of the public who are a bit thick don't erect buildings that could hurt themselves or others. That's why these laws must be adhered to - to protect people. Otherwise, Seamus O'Randomname from Kent could build a lovely cafe, only for it to kill a hundred diners.

Radiation, I see what you're talking about but I'm afraid in my opinion you are being naive. Unfortunately, not everyone out there is nice and polite like you or I. Some are scum, some are stupid and the rest are selfish. Dale Farm seemed to enjoy all three.
