Just moved out..

To be fair, it would have been clearer if he said he moved out of his PARENT'S house and into his girlfriend's PARENTS house during a renovation of his PARENT'S house and now he is moving back to his PARENT'S house.

This would have read better in that no one jumped to the conclusion that he was moving out of his girlfriend's house because of some disagreement given that neither him or his girlfriend have an actual house themselves.

"I lived with my girlfriend for a good 4 months due to my house being renovated"

Am i the only one who thinks everything you need to know is in the above sentence?

"lived" with my girlfriend, past tense, meaning he is talking about a past 4 month period when he "lived" with his girlfriend due to a renovation. That sentence should tell you he moved in and out of his girlfriends due to a renovation only.

No point arguing, just how my mind works i guess lol

I lived with my girlfriend for a good 4 months due to my house being renovated, i moved back finally today, were a good couple and were very close, few arguments but thats healthy, practically been glued to each other for a sold 4 months, shes always had my back and ive always had hers.

I think it was the lack of apostrophes which set the break up tone. "were a good couple and were very close" re-read it as "we're a good couple and we're very close" then it is more clear!!

While I'm nit picking, aln you really don't need to quote the full original post, especially when you are the first to respond to the thread #justsaying

As for the actual post, I'm happy to hear about your dad :)

Maybe you should consider getting your own place with your gf? Those 4 months have clearly brought you closer together and if you have a goal in mind it will help you get through the lonely times. It will also mean you can make the most of your time with your dad before you leave :D

I get what you're saying, although it's a little difficult to read.

I don't officially live with my girlfriend because we both still live at home (saving to move out next year) but she does stay over 5 out of 7 nights a week. those 2 nights she's not there just feel weird to me, although it's nice to have time to myself, it takes me probably an extra hour to fall asleep when she's not there
