Innovation of the Year – Nintendo 3DS
Outstanding Contribution – Sonic The Hedgehog (Sega)
Ultimate Game of the Year – Portal 2 (Valve Corporation)
Agree fully with regards to Portal 2 snatching the GOTY award, however New Vegas winning it over The Witcher 2 is a bit of a 'What the? Who's been paid how much?' moment. Innovation of the year makes me chuckle a bit considering how poorly received by the public and supported by 3rd parties the 3DS has been (but then, the industry hasn't seen many other innovations worth mentioning this year so...).
So what are your thoughts on the subject?
