Next time you hire a car, make sure its a Hertz

Nothing to do with them being Muslim whatsoever. I see you two (and Craterloads? Didn't see his post before it was deleted, but because it was deleted I am going to assume it had some racial trash in it) clung to the headline like a limpet. Here's the reality of it:

The workers drive the company's rental cars to and from the airport for cleaning and refueling. They are among 34 Hertz employees suspended Sept. 30 for failing to clock out before breaks.

People getting fired for breaking contract shocker.

Whilst i think all religion is BS, i hink, up to a point, it may be a little too harsh?

Hwever, if they signed it in their original contract when they got the job that they have to clock out for any reason, then yes, this is perfectly justified

Couldn't agree more. Media always twisting stuff.

They shouldn't be given any extra leniency just because they choose to believe in some form of "God".

I agree with you, up to a point. Society now accept people's views. If they "need" to pray, then so be it. Let them. However, refusing to clock out is just stupid

Lol @ the fact they're muslim having nothing to do with it.

Why else would they be rushing off to pray every five minutes?

Lets ask the other 9 employees who aren't Muslim, but were also fired, eh?

Read the article dipstick. All the information is there.

No. If they "need" to pray they can do it in a private place, at a time that doesn't interrupt their work commitments.

But they "need" to pray regularly i think?

The Article does NOT state these other 9 people weren't Muslim, it only states they agreed to clock out.

Take your own advice .

:o fine, it doesn't say they aren't muslim, but it still proves the point that it's because they failed to comply with their working agreement. Still nothing to do with being Muslim.

I don't see how this should effect our Country in anyway. They don't deserve any special treatment just because they follow a religion.

We don't allow Christians any leeway so Muslims don't deserve any either.

Why do you think we have Weekends?

Who really cares of employers make exceptions for Muslims needing to pray? It's between them and the employer.

It's not really any different than smokers being allowed regular breaks.
