Not got the 360 on at the moment, what lap time have you just done?
Also - you using an interesting car or just copying one of the leaderboard ones?! :p

I beat by earlier time in a McLaren F1 but I'm still trying to tweak it, lots of time to be gained at the moment. It is just plagued by lift of oversteer at the moment. Avoiding using any aero because it spoils the enjoyment of driving the car too. lol

Just managed to get the 2nd place on Top Gear full circuit A class.

Anyone have any tips on how to tune my VX220? Finding it understeers quite a bit and no idea on the deeper workings of the car!
 
To kill low speed understeer you need to make the front of the car softer. You can either soften the springs or rollbars on the front, or harden them on the rear. To kill high speed understeer, it's the same adjustment but smaller on the suspension, and give the front aero more downforce and/or the rear less. If you can't tune aero, then make the car stiffer all around, but increase the front less than the rear.

Failing that, upgrade the tyres and get some weight reduction on there :)

mmmm. Not tried that yet. Just been using my own cars so far and avoiding race prep stuff. It seems that like with previous Forzas you have to have the aero kits on to really be competitive in anything but the low classes :(
 
NEW RULE

Everyone needs to buy and upgrade and ordinary C class or under FWD hatch and upgrade it to S class. Taking a leaf out of Greboth's (I think) Ford Ka and I think it would be quality if we could all have our own car and then race them :)

Edit: It must stay FWD. No traction advantages allowed using AWD ;)

Do it this weekend and we'll race them on Sunday :D

Thanks for the invites. I was just staying on to beat Greboth on Maple Valley then going to bed. I beat him and thought I could do better so had another few attempts.

Was aiming for 10,000-11,000 off the first bend, I managed to hit 14,000 and the Xbox crashed :o
