This is a semi - spec me a phone thread and semi - inform me thread.
Bit of background info I have a Samsung Galaxy S 2 as my current phone, my old phone is a 11 month old Samsung Galaxy S 1 which my GF currently uses.
Her contract is up this month so she will be getting an upgrade and wants a white Samsung Galaxy S 2.
This will mean I have both the S1 and S2, with a year left on my very decent contract. I assume selling both of these would pull in quite close to the £500 required for a brand new top end Android phone.
Having a quick read about I've heard about a Samsung Galaxy Note - I'm not really sure where this fits into the range, or the new Google Nexus (this is being built by Samsung I think)?
Just wondering what other peoples opinions are on when will be the right time for:
a) My GF to upgrade, no point her getting a white SGS2 now on a 24 month £35 contract only for it to be very old hat in 9 months.
b) Should I buy a new phone, and which one.
I'm happy with my GS2 at the moment.
I will not consider an iPhone as I'm tied into everything Google for work and I don't massively like what HTC offer.
Cheers
