Occupy London! Here we go again!

Indeed Castiel.

Didn't get past the need for same housing. Also redistributing wealth doesn't mean = pay.

I seriously hope that text was having a bit of a laugh and not serious. (The text that is I can see that krooton knows the difference ;) )

LOL, the girl in the start of that video is exactly the mindless **** that I knew would be at these protests. Hilarious:D

"They're all up there in their nice swanky houses, nice cars, dinner parties, and we, us the 99% of the population are actually living off baked beans. We know families that are counting the baked beans on their children's plates to make sure they just have enough to eat."

What an absolute lune. But I guess I must be in the top 1% because I used some value pork that was 50% off and some cheap vegetables from Denner to cook a stew with a £3 bottle of wine thrown in for good measure, living in my swanky rental flat.

I take it I must be an even smaller section of the 1%, like 0.00001%, I must be on the same level as the royal family, as I had Sirloin steak for tea last night. If were going by some twisted version of reality where wealth and social status is measured in what you eat for tea.

We need to change the system and the rules about the distribution of wealth, goods and services should have a set value based on a number of variables, things like supply and demand must end, the debt system should be vastly changed or ended, shareholding should end, businesses to stop being mainly profit motivated at the expense of the others and the environment, corruption and greed gone, no individual should have too much wealth, especially wealth thats not justified or fairly earned, no grossly overpaid multimillionaire film stars, sports players, business people etc.

Changing these things will mean more wealth for everyone, companies won't get billions in profit just because they can sell an easily copied bit of content to millions of people, there will be a fair but vastly lower profit formula, a lot of money can still be made it just won't turn into greed.

No, it won't mean any of the above. You are just advocating what has already been attempted in places like the Soviet Union. May I suggest you go and research just how horrible those places were and how many people were killed or imprisoned by those states to keep the 'utopia' going?

Not if it's a dictatorship of the proletariat, rather than a dictatorship of one person.

Any dictatorship is completely unacceptable if you actually believe in freedom.

Of course, we've already established that you do not, you wish for control, not freedom.

State authoritarianism is always ugly and should always be fought against, irrespective of how the authoritarianism is driven.
