I'm undecided on whether or not believe that there's an evil overlord dictator pig (a pink one with a really curly tail) (she's vengeful).
(you don't have to prove that something ridiculous doesn't exist!)

Science is no more real than faith or religion.
Science can explain perception anything else is faith in the unknown. Or the unproven.
I can tell.
God doesn't have to be ridiculous and atheists totally rule out the existence of one in any form.
I would argue that Atheist is a relgion of sorts too.
Its the belief that no god exists. This is faith in no god when the existence of god cannot be proved or disproved.
So your conviction of no god is just the same as a conviction in god.

Logically, I'm agnostic, can't prove anything either way and can't define the question sufficiently to ensure absence of evidence and evidence of absence are equivalent, nor can I provide any form of repeatable evidence that would allow me to try and convince anyone else of my personal faith position.
From a personal faith viewpoint, I'm a polytheist pagan. In terms of my own faith, I'm satisfied that the experiences I've had support this position, however it is not the sort of evidence that can be shared in a meaningful way, so I don't try.

If atheism is a religion, then not collecting stamps is a hobby.
A religious Thread and the self-appointed Arch Bishop of Up His own Arseism isn't here yet with 80+ Posts of egotism?
Who might that be?
Some atheists do some very religious in their ways of convincing other people that their views are wrong and they should believe in no God.
Hence why it's more rational IMO to believe in what we can prove using scientific methods and don't exclude what we cannot yet explain but not take it for granted either.
Based on what?
There is equal chance of a god or not a god
No-one who believes in god knows that a God exists.
No-one claims to know that a God exists even if they say that a God exists.
Its just words
God exists only in Faith and Faith is based on the unknown so anyone claiming they know is really just running on faith.

This ^ but recently i have being watching Ancient Aliens which is very intresting ..... maybe it is all science \ evoloution but have our genes been tampered with?

Not collecting stamps, you aren't doing anything.
Many atheists are actively saying a deity(doesn't have to be linked to any religion) can not possibly exist. That is very much a faith based position. Which may seem a subtle difference, but has a massive difference in understanding.
There are so many variations of atheism and not one can be defined as the standard, which is why people should explain what they mean, when stating they are atheists.
The odds cannot be quantified hence the nonsense of the prediction.

No idea tbh, I believe in good and evil, I don't worship any God although I believe in a higher force of sorts, not a God, more a collective energy produced by living things.
Organised religion totally confuses me, there is no solid proof any God worthy of worship exists, we are expected to blindly just believe, I can't do that. If people find solace in the adherence to a particular religion then that is fine imo, if you have faith and feel it enriches your life then great, but surely real faith shouldn't require the enforcement of your beliefs onto others, if you believe in something then what does it matter who else believes or not?
