It's hella expensive, but then so is the Mulberry pouch my sister got for her 4S lol... tempted, although I'd have to ask how much extra engravings cost. I like the idea of doing something cool on the back both for looks and grip.

I've got the PhoneDevil crystal clear protectors on my 4S. They are (like any similar product I'd imagine) quite difficult to get on right but when you do they seem to work well. The touch-sensitivity of the screen seems to be unaffected and you can't really tell they're there except the home button feels deeper recessed and has a raised edge around it.

I have no idea how good PhoneDevil are against the cheaper alternatives.
 
I'm still using an Otterbox impact but its a bit bulky.

How good is the Switch Easy Vulcan?

I'm looking for something that has reasonable protection but not too bulky

The lifeproof case looks awesome but cant find any for sale in UK. Also, are there cases that are brush aluminium?

Is the OtterBox Commuter bigger or smaller than the impact case?

Anyone have one of those carbon fibre skins on their iPhone? I fancy putting something on for a bit of protection but I really don't want a case or bumper.

I have them on my MBP and it's awesome. Just wondered if its worth it for the iphone.
 
Went and bought myself a Apple iPhone 4/4S Case Friendly (Screen) from Zagg

Also a White CapsuleRebel from the international switch easy store.. Hoping my SwitchEasy Vulcan UltraClear will arrive in the next day or two

The better the screen protector, the better its static properties are. The better the static properties, the more dust sticks to it before you manage to transfer it onto the phone.
PhoneDevil crystal clears, although fantastic in their own right - always come in pack of two. That's because there is person on earth that ever managed to apply first one without dust bubbles underneath or edges lifting up.

Makes sense! Also explains how my first one was a write-off and why I had to use half a roll of tape.

Interesting theory, but I find SwitchEasy screen protectors to be absolutely excellent and also very easy to put on. My 4S protector went on first time with no dust and no bubbles. You cant really tell its there. The one on my 3GS lasted 2 years before it started to lift and I presume it was purely down to me catching the edge. Highly recommend them and you get two free if you buy a case.

I received my Switcheasy Capsule Rebel yesterday, 4 working days after ordering it.

It was a perfect fit, so they did listen to the 4S comment.
