I don't remember it, certainly not to the extent that it has happened so far for me in this one. I didn't play much of Fifa11, i think i only really played it for the first few months, played a lot of 10 though.

Just played a guy called nick5466 and considering kicking him out of the league due to him quitting straight after i scored the winner in the 89th min.

he did messaged me saying how he nearly quit in the 1st half due to me keeping the ball to long playing possession football.

Terrible sportsmanship

I can understand doing it in head to head. But to sit there all game taking one shot...

This league was supposed to be 'fun', well for me it was. This wasn't.

But then should people who like to play possession football stop playing against people who play purely direct ?

There is no rules that state how you should play the game - it is down to personal choice and how you like to play.

Like i said the chat, Learn how to keep the ball better. I have played nearly 20 games so far and you are he first to complain. And as i stated, i am not the only one who plays possession football.

I like to hold the ball and pass and wait till an opening arrives. i dont like giving the ball away cheaply. Its not as if i pass the ball at the back line all he time. im actually passing the ball around outside your area mate.

I will ignore your 3:0 win request and said, put u down as a warning thats all. Just dont quit before a game mate.

If you insist in wanting to give me the win, You might as well leave the league mate. Up to u. Dont want bad sportsmanship in this league.

Try telling that to Nick. When i played Nick, all he done when he got the ball was play direct quick atacking football and 9/10 always lost the ball within 3-4 passes. Its not my fault he cant hold the ball longer.

i guess i should play the same too and give the ball to him to make it fair lol

When your playing people you know(or organised) it should be about having fun and banging in goals against each other and taking the pee. This was far too serious for me. I can play head to head for this.

I played jonney 1v1 and he does like to keep possession of the ball a lot. It was my first time playing him ever and had up to that point never seen someone keep so much possession of the ball. I won't lie, it did slightly annoy me, especially when he scored right at the end to win the game 1-0. But I told him after, and said to him if that is a strategy to stress next man to which resulted in making mistakes it worked and I congratulated him on his win. The next game we played I did the same to him and from what I recall I had 59% possession that game. Unfortunately I could not score and it finished 0-0.

I would never consider for a second quitting though. Only reason I got annoyed a bit was I had never seen anyone play that way before. But soon got used and adapted my playing style and started giving him a taste of his own medicine. When he could not get the ball of me for ages that was so much fun, sorry jonney

Hehe yea i remembered that. u played well second game. Yatz did the same to me as well lol. think he beat me hehe but as you can see, its not a bad tactic. Its not as if i just pass the ball betwene my defenders though for 80+mins. that would be more annoying lol, i try and pass around the midfield and around outside the box so its not really exploting or cheating.

Barcelona play like that all the time.
