New alloys

I wasnt impressed with the 335i for the first few months but grew to love it. I think you gave up too quickly. :)

I gotta say I really like the older wheels, they suite the car supremely but the new wheel design is far too "gappY" to invent a new word...They are too skinny and the gap between /everything/ is just too much!

It reminds me of GTA4 when you burn out and the tyres pop and you end up driving around on rims!

Do a search for "BMW E92,E93 M3,SMG,COUPE,CONVERTIBLE FULL CARBON DASH TRIM SET" on a popular auction site, tempted ;)

Only think is with that is they don't ship to UK (and left hand drive only), trying to figure out what is missing from "BMW E92,E93 M3,SMG,COUPE,CONVERTIBLE FULL CARBON DASH TRIM SET"

Spill the beans on the secret 335i, or is this the second OcUKer to buy a 335i, realise that it isn't really worth the money and not be that enthusiastic about it? :p

Haha not at all - thankfully! Really loving it. I was going to make a thread when i'd had a chance to fit a few pieces to it (got the Genuine Aero front splitter coming from BMW tomorrow hopefully) and also managed to get hold of a Genuine Aero spoiler for a ridiculously good price second hand (although it's brand new in box apparently). Im not sure about the Aero rear spoiler so i'll wait and see - i think i prefer the M3 one as it's more subtle.

I see what you mean about it being relentlessly and effortlessly quick though.

How come its 320bhp? Seems a bit low for a remap? I take it you've picked up an older SE if you are buying aero parts for it? Need more details :p

Maybe it's the pics but those new wheels look ghastly/chav which I am sure is not the image a 335 owner is going for :D

No remap, just the full Milltek exhaust which claims to achieve about 320bhp on a stock engine. Thought it'd be about right as most of the early N54's were renouned for pushing out 310-315bhp totally stock.

Ha, yeh. It's a December 2006 car, 56 plate (bought it from Dr House). I am indeed getting some of the Aero parts for it. I said it from the beginning, i would have loved an M-Sport, but the SE has all the important bits and looks very nice to boot. I don't think it's like the E46 days when the SE's looked a bit tat compared to the Sport trim - the SE and M-Sport on the new BMW's look very nice in both trims.

This one had the exact spec i wanted too (MUST haves were: cream interior, iDrive, low mileage and owned by someone who I know has taken care of it). It also has heated seats, Front and rear parking sensors, the upgraded (Business Hi-fi), full BMW iPod kit, 33k miles and full Milltek exhaust.

Plans for now are to get the Aero front spoiler and the M3 rear lip spoiler fitted, then maybe if i have a bit of free cash in the future get the M3 or M-Sport side skirts and get rid of the wood interior :p

Right now my wallet is recovering and i am very very happy with it how it is at the moment so won't be spending any more money on it for now (although i've got the stupid VED to pay at the stupid end of stupid next month :( )

A LSD takes it to another level even on the straight roads.;)

I don't get it, are LSD's all they're cracked up to be? I thought it was only really good if you had a car that was very powerful so you could launch out of corners quickly without spinning both your rear wheels. Maybe i'm doing it wrong, but i've never had the TC light flash when i'm blasting out of corners, so i'm guessing an LSD would be kind of wasted on me?

Yea I never had an issue with that either, I have to wonder how people drive these cars :p

How much did it cost to get it wrapped? I really like it!

Im glad your happy with it, its a really good car and for what you paid I don't think you would have found a better one.

I would really consider getting the Evolve map put on, I think its well worth 400 quid you will see close to 380 bhp on your car. I will do my wife's car when I get back to the uk and let you know how it is.
