Atheist, don't believe in cults, sorry.

You don't believe in cults? They are hardly unicorns, there are quit a few good examples, you should check them out on wiki.

Oh wait, not what you meant? Try again.

cult   [kuhlt] Show IPA
noun
1.
a particular system of religious worship, especially with reference to its rites and ceremonies.
2.
an instance of great veneration of a person, ideal, or thing, especially as manifested by a body of admirers: the physical fitness cult.
3.
the object of such devotion.
4.
a group or sect bound together by veneration of the same thing, person, ideal, etc.
5.
Sociology. a group having a sacred ideology and a set of rites centering around their sacred symbols.

Notice how only number 1 is of or pertaining to religion? Thats 4 definitions you expertly ignore. Good job scientist, good job.

There is ZERO proof they came about randomly. You really can't say that.

I believe it was mathmatical analysis, much like the (debunked)irreducible complexity that lies at the heart of ID. As I said, not my strong point and quite complex when first brought up.

But if you want to give them both equal weight, feel free. It makes very little difference to me.

I think you both need to look closer and deeper than ID.

ID is meaningless when looking at the bigger Picture....ID is perception of Man and evolution is too.

A hammer is a hammer and its useless unless it is applied to make meaning...This meaning is constructed by perception. Just like anything else in the universe.

You're both arguing nothingness!

We believe Islam as the final word of God..Christianity/Judaism are part of Islam..

Despite the fact that Judaism pre-dates Islam by at least 1000 years and Christianity by at least 600 years you still see Christianity and Judaism as part of Islam? More correctly it would be Islam and Christianity that are offshoots of Judaism surely?

As I just stated, we believe Judaism, Christianity to be part of God's message, yes, Islam is the final piece, the final word.

This is what I believe as a Muslim, I respect all religions.

I know that is what you believe, but the historical record would suggest otherwise...

The Koran disagrees with you. It has very little in the way of nice things to say about religions that are not of the Book.

Statistics does not prove mechanisms it can't.

Interesting statistic for Agnostics. I wonder if it is due to lack of knowledge regarding evolution and surrounding topics.

All Catholics are Christians, but all Christians are not Catholics ;)

There should be a Catholic option...

Then there should also be an option for the Protestants, Anglicans, Methodists, Presbyterians, Baptists, Pentecostals, Orthodox and all the other Christian denominations.

No, it is more the fact that if I am being intellectually honest I cannot categorically say that some form of god does not exist. I am relatively happy that evolution probably covers how species developed.
