Poll: What is your position on religion/god?

I'm an Agnostic/Atheist, as it just makes the most sense to me when compared to other religions.
Personally though, I wouldn't mind if I was wrong and there was an afterlife/god. Would be more comforting to know than the standard "when you're dead, you're dead."

No, but believing something is almost certainly the case, but recognising that you have absolutely no way of proving it is entirely rational.

Then surely you are more Atheist? Science relies on evidence, religion relies on faith, which by definition is the complete opposite. If you are intellectually honest and divided by the two, surely you must reason with scientific evidence rather than religious texts, or the knowledge of some people born thousands of year ago who knew virtually nothing about the world.
Relatively happy with evolution? Probably covers how speciies developed? It is widely accepted by top intellectuals and academics as fact. There is such an abundance of evidence that it is almost idiotic to deny or to an extent, even partly deny its truth.

No, that's called being human. You do it all the time. You believe that every time you cross the road a car isn't going to come speeding round the corner and run you over, but you couldn't be absolutely certain. You believe that when you put the kettle on it will boil water for you and not break, but you can't be absolutely certain.
In everyday life, looking for absolute certainties is a waste of time. But looking for absolute certainties is what Science is all about.

Atheists effectively have faith in their belief that there is no god. Agnostic atheists recognise this 'faith' requirement in atheism and acknowledge they can't prove atheism. You seem to be missing the point.
No, we don't have faith. We rely on evidence as opposed to faith, faith (in this sense) is defined as: strong belief in God or in the doctrines of a religion, based on spiritual apprehension rather than proof.

Your convinced there is no god when there could be.
That is faith...Faith that there is no god. Its exactly the same as having faith in god.
Agree with the first part, disagree with the second. Atheism has definite correlation to evolution.
