You think affluent, intelligent well educated people would even consider rioting?

I'm surprised they/you missed out "Foreign".
Interesting indeed. I suppose there are two sides of it, on one hand it may show that whites are no worse than blacks for this kind of thing (which we should all expect). On the other hand it would be interesting to see the demographics of the area in terms of whites to blacks and education figures for each 'group'.
Actually they did.. look at Ealing. I think the local paper said the other week that something like only 15% of the rioters were from ealing. I can't find the actual number but it could have been even lower than that.Surely this just reflects the areas the riots took place in. People didn't commute to more affluent, higher employment districts to do their rioting.

I would say 100% have lived with one parent for at least some of their life. I hear one dad went to the shops and left the children at home with mum for a whole evening.Hardly a shocker, i would love to know how many of these people grew up in single parent families.
Interesting.

Huh? Over half of those arrested were black and since the overwhelming population of London is White British I'd be surprised if there weren't a lot of "whites" arrested. Unfortunately there is a real problem in the black community and this needs to be addressed.
