Huh? Over half of those arrested were black and since the overwhelming population of London is White British I'd be surprised if there weren't a lot of "whites" arrested. Unfortunately there is a real problem in the black community and this needs to be addressed.

Actually they did.. look at Ealing. I think the local paper said the other week that something like only 15% of the rioters were from ealing. I can't find the actual number but it could have been even lower than that.

So we paid someone to come to the conclusion that the people taking part in the riots were basically scum.

We kind of guessed that thanks highly educated types, by virtue of the fact they were rioting in the first place.

Also, anyone using these figures to prove that there isn't a gang problem in London is being misleading. The gang members will be the ones who started the looting, with their faces fully covered so they can't be identified on CCTV later. The ones arrested will be the "hee hee free stuff" idiots who joined in later after the most serious criminality had been done.

I would say 100% have lived with one parent for at least some of their life. I hear one dad went to the shops and left the children at home with mum for a whole evening.
