Will my Radeon 6870 be good enough?

I have the Sapphire Radeon 6870, and I ran http://www.systemrequirementslab.com to see how it would fare for battlefield 3 and it says it doesn't even reach the recommended spec?
It ran perfectly well in the beta, so I'm not sure whats wrong. is my graphics card not powerful enough?

i have a 6870 also. i may have to settle for medium settings for decent playability

a GTX 580 is the best card BF3 by the looks of things, its also recommended by DICE

DICE are slightly bias though because they are promoting Nvidia (giving away their graphics cards)

i think i need more vram really.....
ill have to pick a 560ti 2GB or something along those lines if its that bad

I'd like too, but my pc is just over a month old so I don't think I'll be able to upgrade for a while :l

yeah my 6870 was only brought about a month ago :/

before i get a new GPU i need to get a 2500k. but then again that does just make me think.
sell off whole system. start fresh

i know.
i was heart broken earlier to check my bank for the funding for the purchase and to realise i didnt not have enough funds ! to then have to cancel my order......was purley heartbreaking !!

but i get paid on thursday so i guess ill have to wait....

i just wont turn my PC on for the next few days to take the hurt away haha

Yeah that will suck, but there isn't much difference between high and ultra so I'm not too worried about it

It's noted the difference between High and Ultra is far from massive -- consider it a nice bonus if you've invested in the extra gear.

my 6870 has done a good job so far perfectly playable at 1920x1080. on near full high settings

I played on high settings in the beta with a 6850 and the game looked brilliant and i have about 30 -40 fps. Although i was running at 1600x1050
