6950 vs. 560Ti/570 Help a Noob.

I'm not very clued up on anything computer related if I'm honest, so I'm trying to get to grips with this stuff as I'm getting a new PC soon. As the title says, basically I'm wondering what you guys think about the 6950 2GB in relation to its competition.

I know that 6950 resides nearer to the price range of the 560Ti than the 570, but it still costs anything from £15-£50 more. Basically I'm wondering how the three compare not just in terms of performance, but also noise levels and practicality and it would be appreciated any personal experience of these cards was shared.

As far as I'm aware, the pricing ratio is as follows:

GTX 560 Ti---------6950 2GB----------------------------------GTX 570

What effect does the extra video RAM have in terms of gaming and everyday use? Is the 570 worth the premium over the 6950 and likewise with the 560 Ti to the 6950? How loud are these things? How do they run Crossfired/ SLI's?

Just some example questions.

Well in terms of general performance, I kind of guessed that. But why does the 560Ti outperform the 6950 in many scenarios? Also video RAM effect would be...? Thanks

Short answer from me though is either 2Gb 560/6950 very similar performance, game dependant.

Not much extra at all gained going any higher as they will both overclock well.
