RANT. The advert includes a telephone number. You're trying to sell the car, I want it, I understand you might not answer in work hours, but not answer your phone all evening, no reply to a text, what the hell?

Why put it up for sale? Don't you understand I have whims to fulfill??

Btw it was a rado vr6

May be he lost his phone?

Then you change the number in the advert...? Or at least change it to say email contact only.

OP's rant is valid. It's stupid putting a car up for sale and then ignoring everyone. Sellers always put 'no time wasters or test pilots'...likewise don't waste my time by ignoring my messages.

Of course he might be working evenings as well as days, or be abroad for a couple of days, etc. But he's probably sold it and cbf to get the advert changed.

Are you calling from a withheld number? A lot of people won't answer their phone unless a number is displayed (god knows why).

I know you sent a text as well, but just a thought regarding your calls.

Maybe it's sold? maybe they can't be bothered deleting the advert and it's easier to ignore calls as it'll expire in a couple of days anyway, I know that's what I've done, ignore calls and texts till the advert expires

normal mobile number, advert has been up 1-2 days. an old corrado cant be so popular that hes having to keep callers away with a poo covered stick lol

I wish I got phone calls about the car im currently trying to sell! I would answer straight away! lol - got my new car lined up but need to sell mine first!

I'm sure you already are but it's also worth keeping an eye out on the Corrado Forum for good cars. At least that way you can look through the history of it and it may even have had several owners on there. Corrado's aren't selling particularly fast right now so there are bargains to be had. But equally, the good examples can tend to go reasonably quickly as there aren't that many around that are in great condition nowadays, so the 'good' ones are the exception now.

There's a buyers guide on the forum:

http://wiki.the-corrado.net/the_corrado_buying_guide_checklist.html

Or, if you have any specific questions on Corrado's (particularly the VR6) then let me know here or in Trust and I'd be happy to reply. The best advice anyone can give is not to buy at the bottom end of the market as they can be money pits if you buy the wrong one :) I absolutely love mine though and while it may not be the best car I've owned, it's certainly the most fun and the one that puts the biggest smile on my face.

I've had this over the last couple of days. Seen a Leon Cupra I liked in Brighton, and tried ringing the guy at 3 different times of day. No answer, so I texted. No reply. Then I saw an old ad for the car on Seat Cupra forums, and emailed. No reply. I then dug about on said forum, and found the car was likely to be a hunk of crap anyway. At least his lack of response gave me a chance to find out about his car. I suppose he's sold it, so I pity the buyer TBH.

cos when you put your number on some place like confused.com you get every insurance co ringing you from 9am to 5pm
