Oooo maybe I'll buy one of these with the money I made from selling my 4S :D

Looks nice, still want to feel a Galaxy Nexus in my hands first before I jump in though.

Looks like there will be some more "Nokia only" stuff, The turn by turn sat nav, Nokia Music, Mix Radio and ESPN sports hub and 25Gb of Skydrive so far...

What happened to Nokia's differentiation strategy? It's just boggo WP7.5 with a navigation app...

Very dissapointing :(

Rumour has it the pricing is going to be extremely aggressive, all networks with possible colour tie ins and a bunch of other smaller stuff like that backed up with a big advertising run. I expect a lot of store incentives to sell these too.

While it may sound a bit basic, a lot of people just want a smartphone that works, but one that isn't going to pull my trousers down on cost. Nokia still have significant mind share and impulse buying is still big in telecoms, this handset will go the distance with the right backing.

Depending on price, this seems a good first step to someone moving onto a feature smart phone. I await reviews and see how tasks such as web browsing/navigation/camera/calls/battery life/emails fare on the device as that is the main requirement for a lot of people.

Are the specs listed in the opening post official? I'm trying to find out if the phone has a front facing camera. Everything I've seen from the live blogs at Nokia World say it doesn't but this bit...

CAMERA Primary: Yes
Features:Yes
Video:Yes
Secondary:Yes

...from the opening post suggests it does?

(Unless I'm reading the specs totally wrong!!)

Cool. I await with baited breath! :)

Due an upgrade and been waiting to see what Nokia come up with. The 800 looks brilliant but omission of an FFC seems odd considering it's support in Mango, Skype being released soon etc.
