Is there a way around the date check? mine fails, i've looked in the thread but cant seem to find a solution.

Er, "You were kicked from the server by an administrator" - constantly as of today.

I just had to use the proxy ip trick as origin is not unlocked till the 28th :confused:

but i was playing online lastnight lol

For the VPN check are you definitely turning OFF Origin before you change your Proxy setttings?

Right-click the icon & Exit the program from your system tray.

Then do the Proxy settings.

Restart Origin, start BF3 via the icon in Origin & run through the date check. I also found turning off Cloud sync for BF3 may help.

It still may fail, but do the check again. Took one member of XSG 3 goes before it unlocked correctly.

After unlock. Shut down Origin, turn off the Proxy & then restart & you should be good to go from that point onwards.

You need to update Punkbuster & probably the servers you are connecting too need to update their PB as well.

Any PB conflict in versions will cause player kicks.

Thanks I had origin open when I did the proxy so if it pops up again I will turn all off

However it must be said that I have pre-ordered BF3. It was the only option after playing it at Eurogamer.

Wheres the cheapes place to buy the game digitally ? I preorded from game station in store with the £5 deposit by trading in a game worth that =P But I phoned up and they are saying its going to be £38.99 for the PC which is a total rip off so wheres the cheapest and safest place I can get it from?

Not tried release BF3 with any other drivers, sorry. No stuttering as far as I can see though.

Had these installed for a while now due to RAGE.

where do I change said proxy settings to get it to work? I used some open vpn thing before for steam.

Forgot about this, will be my first FPS in a long time. Shall start the download tonight. Guessing my system may struggle a little (MSI GeForce GTX 460 HAWK "Super-OC" 1024MB, Corsair Vengeance 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 PC3-15000C9 1866MHz, Intel Core i5 2500K)?
