sorry for my noob fail but ive just unlocked the acog scope for my m16a2 but i have no idea how to equip it?

I was a little surprised to find that, playing at 1920x1080, my 6950 is doing very well and the auto setting in the graphics options has set everything except terrain textures to ultra, i haven't been looking at FPS, but it is very smooth indeed and that is all i care about.

I did turn off motion blur though, as i don't like it and deffered AA is also not on(don't know what it is exactly, lol)

Hang on a minute - any install experts in here?

I already had Original downloaded and setup ready for BF3... I just got my Disc copy, so stuck it in... and bang, it installs Original and an update. OK me thinks, must be fine as surely it would pick up a dupe.

Anyway it then logs me into Original and I put my BF3 key in and it starts downloading the game.. 11Gb. If its downloading it, why the farleys rusks have I got 2 discs in a box for!!!!!!

It says it will take about 18 mins... which is either nuts for downloading speed OR its actually getting stuff from the disc.. which is flashing but ive never used it before, its some blu ray thing.

What the hell is going on.

Also ive got a 2nd disc which is a bonus, what do I do with that? Any answers that include my backside will be appreciated

Agree. I had an awesome conquest game with 16 players, 8vs8. I'm not really liking 64 player servers to be honest. It just too chaotic and doesnt really encourage teamwork in your squads.

It says downloading, its actually copying from the disc... it will ask for Disc 2 towards the end. Then it will download the patch.

When you're selecting your class you have a loadout tab and mods or something like that and you can equip it there.

I have to say the scale of the whole thing is brilliant. And the 64 player games are insanity. Love it.

In the server config, how do you tweak it so you don't need 8 players to start a round? It's really frustrating, our server keeps dying...

Popped the disc in, hit install and registered the game with Origin. Now the game is downloading and won't let me install from the disc. Wat.

I must have some shabby flippin drive in this thing ffs im at 50% and almost ready to punt the PC out of the window.

It should be installing from disc, it just says 'downloading'. Towards the end, it will ask for Disc 2 hopefully. Then once that is done, it should download a 6xxmb update

Worst game ever and ive not even played it. This has wound me right up, why cant it be like the old games.

Its definately downloading unless my blu ray drive is reading at 3.9mbs per... surely thats a mistake.

I dunno, 0 activity on my drive and my connection is fairly quick at home. Still, 60% of the way through now so I'll let you know if it asks for disc 2.
