Those of you who pre-ordered on origin, did you get the physical warfare pack code in your email?

I only received the BF3 unlock code which was already assigned when I pre-ordered this game but nothing on the PW pack.
 
Yeah, got it sometime after midnight last night Wing. Give them a holler on the live chat and they should either re-issue it or give you a new one there and then. Might take a while to get through to em though as they aren't the brightest bunch.
 
Well my amazon order finally decided to turn up, last time I buy a disc I think.

Entered my key then it says something about an incorrect version I'm trying to install vs my key code. Thought... oh crap. Logged out, back in again and BF3 had appeared with a Download button. Thought, ok it will probably just look for the disc.... but oh no, its downloading it. This disc is not even spinning. Good job I have reasonably fast unlimited internet. The whole staggered launch, activation servers crashing, origin being generally crap and poor install process is quite unprofessional.
I'm sure 64player conquest will make up for it :D
 
How are people finding the jet controls? I have changed throttle up, down etc to my up down left right keys and w,s,a,d to role. Is it easy to control while using the mouse axis or is that a no no? Not been able to actually try it as i can never seem to find where the jets are on any map haha

This is what I am thinking of doing but atm it's a nightmare trying to get through live support staff. Must be busy with too many complaints lol.

I have only received the game code aswell. I'm still installing so I will have to see if I have the pack enabled.

Edit: Ah I see we should have been emailed it.
 
Still having the same launching the game problems as in the beta.. the game will not load from battlelog at all, BF3.exe starts, then crashes 5 seconds later :@ Any ideas?
 
WTF!? Trying to Install my Limited Edition from Amazon, It gets to 99.70% and asks for the second disc. BUT IT'S ALREADY IN THE ******* DRIVE!! :mad:

EDIT - Now I realise why, computer has decided to have a mad one and stopped recognising the disc in the drive properly.

I can't comment on flying with mouse + keyboard but you should know that you spawn in the jets like you do a capture point. You can enter them like a normal vehicle but you've got a better chance spawning into them.
 
guys how do you change the "chat" button? When i create a party its "left shift" which is also "run" in game!.

Cant see how you change it to something else?

Also why isnt there any way of chatting in game? The create a party chat is very poor.
 
anyone else totally deflated with the release?

I find it very dull and spammy... might uninstall it, only played like 30 mins lol

Not encountered a jet, attack or transport heli in 3 maps.

Seems to me the maps are a lot smaller than bf2 and frankly CoD does FPS better than this.

There is no team work, no coordination and no fun. Maybe I am too old for all this crap now. Back to World of Tanks I think!

Lol this is what I have been doing most of the time when playing with jet :p
 
How do you activate BF3?

I have downloaded the latest client, installed fom CD and I get a dialog box with nothing in it, just blank. I can only minimuise or cross it off:confused:

same thing when I try this way

3) Click the 'cog' icon and select 'Redeem Product Code'.

Just blank

Just finished work so not up to date with the latest. MP and SP won't launch. It gets stuck on initializing. It was working yesterday. Is this a common problem today?
