Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Think I'm gonna go a bit later than planned, I'll be at Picadilly for 11:15am and go straight to HMV. Was planning on getting there earlier but I need a ly in.

She has an incredibly easy one:

chp (4 frame startup! Force stand! Auto frame trap! True block string into tatsu! Mental!), lk.tatsu (0 frames on block! MENTAL!), lk, ex.tatsu (see tatsu), ... actually let my type that without getting all excited:

(jhk/clp) chp, lk.tatsu, lk, ex.tatsu, otoshi (hit twice), land and back dash, full lp.fireball, mixup

Huge, huge, huge damage and a safe chip/mixup at the end. You can dash U1 or just use U2 if you're a scrub after the ex.tatsu.

Just got leathered in a warmup session against a good Gief. Elrasho is playing him now and not doing much better. Ive seen kreeeee but no sign of omh, cant see anyone playing oni though...

Good luck guys ;)

Slightly disappointed that elrasho isn't making people tear their hair out :p although Gief is a bad matchup if the Gief knows what they're doing.

Anyone watched " I got next " yet?

I Got Next" is a documentary on the fighting game community. It follows four prominent players, Justin Wong, Ryan "Gootecks" Gutierrez, Joe "iloveu" Ciaramelli and Mike Ross through their experiences in the scene with the release of Street Fighter 4, which has caused a resurgence in the fighting game genre and a rekindling of the East Coast/West Coast rivalry that had died down in years past...

is it out yet?

i very disappointed omh couldnt make it to manchester. i expected him to make top 8! even though online warriors generally dont do well in life tournaments.

I played so bad today lol, I think it was a mixture of my stick missing inputs, the different monitors in use, plus the obvious difference between offline and online but I really played quite badly. It was only 4 per group and top 2 go through. a Juri player in our group won all his games and went through, the rest of us all won 1 each so it went to a tie break. I won the first tie break game then lost the second so the other guy went through.

I didn't get to watch elrasho or kreeeee in their group games but both got through!! Kreeeee won all his games with deejay, he was the seeded player in their group which meant he didn't play one of the other 'big names', which was a nice advantage but every bit helps if you're using deejay. From memory I think elrasho got to last 32 then lost and went into losers, Kreeeee won once more and got to last 16 and then got knocked into losers.

I had to go at 5pm so didnt get to see who won, but there were quite a few big names missing eg. Infexious and Jiji, oh and OMH ;)

It was enjoyable and I will go to the next one if any of you guys go, just for a laugh and to play casuals. If Kreeeee had trained up his Balrog as backup I think he would have made top 8 because there really was nothing he could do against Guile, I think I recorded that game too. Only got vids of when Kreeeee and elrasho lost :p Couldn't get the group games since we were all playing at the same time.

MARJIN B0000 did alright, he also got to top 16 then was knocked into losers, not sure how he did from there. I think there were around 60 ppl who entered. It was fun and good meeting you guys. :)
