Well what can I say, more impressed than what I thought I would be. Beta played alright, nothing special, however now I've got a retail copy wow! A 5770 playing BF3 on high at around 50fps! Medium will give about 70fps, and ultra bout 30fps. Not too bad! Playable, but not smooth.

Ordered a refurbed GTX 470 though, and from anandtech website it's about double the FPS on the games tested so it should perform very very well on BF3 with settings on high, and hopefully with ultra.
 
Yeah i was surprised that my 5830 runs it on high with tweaked settings (1680x1050). I was going to buy a 560ti but glad i waited as ill just wait until the new cards are out now.
 
How are you getting 50fps? I've got an i7 950, 12gb ram, ssd, ati 5770 and only get 25-30fps at 1900x1200 on high. Hopefully a toxic 6950 coming my way soon should help out!
 
Don't know, my system is not the greatest. I've got a 3.6ghz overclock on an AMD Athlon II X4 635.
