Can any of you advise me, just got a Corsair Hydro H100 yesterday, but it has developed a fault, the pump/fan controller isn’t working.
One fan runs full tilt all the time and the other one pulses on and off + the pump fan controller won’t’ show up the Push-button fan control so you can select the fan speed shows nothing but the just the icon with the man!

My question is if I don’t want to RMA it to corsair can I return the item under the distance selling regulations to where I bought it?

As I have had it less than 24 hours:confused::mad::confused::mad:

Thanks in advance for any replies ;)

no need to DSR it as you'll likely get lumped with postage. just return it to where you bought it as a faulty unit under SOGA for a refund or replacement

Thanks for that, I have just requested a returns number from the company I got it from, I have asked for a refund, the fan/s were stuck on full OMG it was like sitting next to a jumbo jet, what a noise needless to say I won’t be getting another one:mad:

I've had my issues with the H100 (such as having issues mounting it on my socket 775 mobo), but once you get it up and running with some aftermarket fans (I have akasa vipers) it really is a very good cooler.

It seems like you got unlucky with the issues on yours, I wouldn't give up on th idea of a H100 just because of that though.

Try this......

A firmware reset is probably needed to correct those fans from constantly running at max speed;
To reset the firmware, use the following procedure:

1. While the computer is running, hold down the profile button for approximately five seconds
2. Wait one minute, while the unit continues to run
3. Shut down your computer
4. Press and hold the profile button for five seconds while turning on the power to your computer.

It worked for me....
