This doesnt feel as polished to me as the Beta, the controls feel slower, even worse when aiming and ive bumped it up to over my normal settings.

The sound is great when it works, but had a few times last night where it all went dead appart from the sound of my gun, and VOIP, i also had a moment where i spawned with no HUD on the screen, and when i died i couldnt do anything, just had to wait for the end of round.

Im also finding it hard to get good setting for the helos, in BC2 i had it set for.

Left stick, throttle and strafe, right for yaw and pitch, but in this i got close but its extremly difficult.

I also seem to fire rubber bullets a lot, many times ive emptied clips into someone only for them to turn around an kill me in one, not sure if its down to the lag or just poor hit detection.

I feel a bit let down as the beta was fantastic despite its bugs.
 
Hi guys,

I'm just playing the campaign at the moment and am on mission 'Night Shift'. I'm at the point where you have to defend Campo who is patching up the HVT - Al Bashir.

Campo has asked that you place claymores which I have done - all three on the ground floor - however they don't seem to work. The enemy just waltses past them and they dont explode, they look like their more likely to trip over them then been blown apart by them.

What am I doing wrong??
 
What are everyones 'techniques' for getting squads into games, 360 in particular. Have 2 mates coming with their 360's and BF3 today so going to use my connection but tried it briefly yesterday and whilst 2 people into the same game was hard enough, 3 seems like it could be impossible! Anyone managed to get into a game with 2+ mates on the same team at least? Can sort squads if we're at least on the same team lol
 
Engineer class guns on multipower are still way over powered, im shooting a guy at range with an assault class gun, getting the white cross, and he turns around and kills me in a few shots

I have found the single shot / multi shot option for guns fun, turns an assault rifle into a deadly weapon long range

If one of you goes into a game, you can use the friends option on the server browser and it will put you in or que you then autojoin when theirs space.

Im a bit confused about the primary weapons for engineer which i play a lot , i find sometimes im using the AKS-74u yet its locked in my customize soldier page?

I've also unlocked a addon for it but why is it still locked in customize soldier page?

you may have only unlocked it for US team or just Russian team. Unlocks in this game are Side/team based too. So you may get a scope on your rifle on russian team but it wont be there on US Team till you unlock it.

Think the idea is too make it last a while getting unlocks.
 
ah i see your point but why does it say the AKS-74U IS locked in the customize menu?

* i was using it on Kharg Islands as defence so i must have been the Russian team as when i was American i think i was using the default M14-a

after doing a bit of searching the AKS-74U is the default engineer class for the russians , so that explains it

wonder why its locked in the customize soldier page if its a default class??
