Hello all,

I posted a month ago so a lot of this is build is from that, however I can now buy it finance so just double checking its all looking good.

Their is no real budget since I will pay for the best as long as it does what I need it to do.

My main goals
* Play starcraft2 on full settings and it must not computer lag at any point full battles etc.
* Not to go super slow when i am streaming myself playing starcraft2 or fraping wow right now i can't stream and I always have to play starcraft2 at low settings.
* To be able to play new games alsoi play a lot of FPS, fear3/ deadisland/rage etc however my main goal is sc2

As I said my 100% main focus is to make sure i can stream starcraft 2 without any computer lag so it must do that before anything else :)

If their is something coming out soon thats worth waitting for let me know IE sandybridge e/ivy bridge but i guess their is no point waitting but I welcome feedback.

thanks

Here is the build

OcUK Motherboard Bundle - Intel Core i5 2500K & Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 Mainboard which seems ok option also
because i am going buy a Bigfoot Networks Killer™ E2100 network card I also seen Gigabyte G1 Sniper 2 Intel Z68 (Socket 1155) DDR3 Motherboard which is a lot more but them are my other 2 options.
With the ram was unsure if better to buy faster ram/gskill ripsaw etc type ram again views welcome.

My current mouse and keyboard are fine but thinking i should replace them.
mouse is razer naga which i brought for wow but i dont need the buttons for sc2, so thinking of Razer DeathAdder Respawn 3500 DPI Xtreme Precision Gaming Mouse - Retail or Steelseries Sensei Pro Laser Gaming Mouse so i need to pick which one of them.

my keyboard is Razer Lycosa Gaming Keyboard i dont need to change it right now but i kinda raged and semo broke it lol so could do with replacing so thinking SteelSeries 6G v2 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard (64226) [64226]

headset Corsair Vengeance 1300 Professional Gaming Headset £69.98 i use to use razer one but i had problems with it, so if anything better again views please :)

I will be using 2x1TB sata drives i have and screen

I think that is everything lol

Seems around £1.6/7k for this build, so if you think i can lower it down and do the same thing let me know, because their is no point paying £1.7k if i can get the same computer for £700 to do what i want

Been thinking aobut it a bit more, tbh i think i could really make it a lot cheaper, but please give me views :)
Thank you very much for your feedback

Whilst the Kingston SSD has higher headline speeds, it uses Sandforce controller (see here)
Theres plenty of places you could save money, you could get a PC 90% as powerful for half the money prob, but it would depend on if you were happy with it, eg drop 580 back to 570 etc

That's my exact setup. I've built it yesterday evening, and nothing to report. Works as expected, the motherboard has loads of fan headers, it's well laid out, looks good, and has good performance. So far, only run ATTO benchmark on SSD, and got 500MBps :) Loads quick, especially with SSD, and post is fast.

I haven't started overclocking yet, I've run a prime run at stock and got 40C, with a MUX-120 (and a Apache, since I had one kicking around).

Haven't overclocked yet, I would have preferred more fan control, but it seems to do the job.

Can't say about the GPU, but at least it will play all your games maxed.

I have the M4, and the write speed won't match the Kingston, but for me it doesn't matter as I use the SSD for OS, and the read speeds are really good. I've read about the kingston, and it seems to perform, as well as being of good quality.

Should do the trick. Not sure about the network card, never had any problems with onboard LAN. The Asrock as some tools that also gives you control over the LAN (traffic shaping, ect...). Not sure if the tools will work with dedicated card, or if you'd care :)

dunno about the razer stuff as I never got their peripherals.

As far as components go, You seem to have a good build. I don't care for OCZ PSUs, I would pick up a XFX Black 850W, but that's me. Really pleased so far. Even though cable management was a pain, even in that case and with that PSU. I'm sure you'll enjoy yours too :)

My build is
2500K.
AsRock extreme4 Gen 3.
Kingston HyperX 8GB.
6950 2GB TOXIC crossfire.
Carbide 500R.
Corsair AX 850.

didnt know about the kingston using sandforce, thxs

well, my main goal is sc2 streaming full graphics, so if you could spec me a computer half the price i think i would buy that since it makes better money sense.

as long as it did what i want it to do i will be happy,

ya i have toned it down a bit, but the biggest saving is the card being 100 less, changed a few bits saved about 300 or so
