I have searched for this but can't find anything. Can someone correct me if there is a thread as such.

After verifying that my Beats are REAL I thought I would post them up with there new hanger stand!!

Wow, real beats?! Great if you only want to hear the bass and look like a bit of a tool in the process (although, that only applies if you wear them out :p).

I have:

Beyer Dynamic DT770 Premiums
Sennheiser HD555s
Ultimate Ears UE700 with custom ear buds (which, admittedly make me look like a tool as well due to the tips being bright red :p).

Edit: Also there's both a Hifi section and a sound section, either of which would probably be better suited :)

Not a hater, just know what I prefer and have tried a whole heap of different brands. The bass on the Beats is completely overpowering for most types of music.

Ultrasone Pro 750 driven by a Little Dot Mk III tube amp and a CA DacMagic. I'll probably upgrade in the new year, looking at Denon D7000 and may go the fully balanced route with a new amp and DAC.

I've a pair of Etymotic HF3's which I use in the gym (with an ipod classic and a fiio e5).

For serious listening at home I've a pair of Sennheiser HD800's and a Lehmann Black Cube Linear Amp, fed by a dCS Debussy Dac and a Mac Mini running Pure Music. This sounds better than some 30k hi-fi systems I've had the pleasure of hearing. An absolute open window to the music.

Senn HD650 <- Graham Slee Solo Amp <- Micro DAC <- FLAC

I've also got a set of Beyer Dynamic DT231 Galactic for non-amped listening.

And Senn HD600 with a cardas cable for classic or heavy vocal listening, though the standard cabled HD650s sound so good it's rare I roll out the HD600s.

ATH-AD700s, small dent in the right cup though where I fell asleep in them. These headphones are so fragile!

Beyer Dynamic DT770 Premiums
Sennheiser HD555s
Ultimate Ears UE700 with custom ear buds (which, admittedly make me look like a tool as well due to the tips being bright red :p).

How are the UE700s? I'm looking to buy some new IEMs. At the moment I'm using some Klipsch K2s which I bought for ~£20. I originally planned to not spend more than £20-30 on IEMs as I stuff them in my pocket with my zune and I used to break them all the time.

However, now I've Klipsche K2s and realised the reason they were breaking was due to the Senns quality problem (known issue with one bud going after a few months) on the CXseries rather than me abusing them I'm tempted to spend a bit more on them considering I probably spent equal amounts of time listening to my IEMs out and about as I do in my room with my ADs.

Also, +1 on the monster headphones.

I have the beats pros, better separation than the studios and an all round improvement. also I have a pair of Senn 650s and beyer Dt990. Each are much if a muchness to be honest, the beyers edge it on sound quality, the Beats on buold quality....each to their own of course but I prefer the beat pros, although the studios are not great tbh.

sennheiser HD205 looking pretty on my PC speaker, the band was too tight for my head.
sennheiser CX300 to tie me over for a while in case my CX500s break. My emergency pair of earphones :P
