Street Fighter (SFIV, SSFIV, HDR)

Next month is Marvel in Manchester.

Won 5 lost 2 in the tournament. Got through groups into winners, won one there and got top 16, elrasho lost a match in groups and got top 25-32. Adz didn't make it out of groups.

That was my last tournament as deejay. Time to play someone in the top 3/4 of the roster and start placing.

Kreeeee, did you see who won? Wywywywywy and Hutch must have made it to the semi's at least I'd guess.

EDIT: Just checked on neoempire and quote: "If anyone's interested, Wywywy won the tournament, Juggernaut came second and Hutch came third."

Hutch uses Seth, and Wywywywyw was using Juri today although his main was Sim last year, or even the year before.

Top 16 and you don't even play the game is really impressive good job kreee. Yeah wywywyw was one of the guys I saw as a threat he has a very solid Sagat, Juri and dhalsim. No surprise to hear he won.

I'm guessing it will be UMVC3 next time then? I'll be putting some time into that game anyway I wanna play a lame arthur / dormammu team. See how it goes.

Gutted I couldn't make it :/ I baught a bag for my stick and everything
 
i might attend the marvel one next month. hope to figure more stuff out before that to replace my dhc glitch one touch kill combos.

I do play the game, I just can't play it much. Playing at events like this and WSO for a few short hours is worth 20 times that amount online remember.

Playing better players, with them sat right next to you talking and giving advice, demonstrating principles etc does a LOT for your game.

Edit: Oh, <3 offline! Surprised the hell out of adz a number of times by reacting to Guile's boom to punish :D

That was fun :) Got there at 11am met Adz as I walked in. Played some casuals with some strangers, and now I know what you guys mean about offline/online... offline is total ********! lol Nah its just different, I kept missing cr.lp into l.TT which I never miss online!

I had Wywywywy in my groups so at least I can say I got beat by the champ heh heh. My group was quite even, the other two players were good but on the same level as Wywywywy and I managed to capitalsi winning 2 - 0 against both so I came second.

Then I had MARJIN B0000 in knockouts and he anhhilated me. I was rushing and jumping all voer the screen (not one wheel kick!) Adz has the vid. Then I went into loser where I beat a Ken player from Brumville. Then I lost against Ballsey with bunny hopping Blanka. Its went down to the wire, last round 20seconds left both had 1.5cm of health. He started to turtle and won it. Kinda gutted I didnt beat him but hey I think I did ok for my first offline tourney.

I'll be going to the one in December defo. Kreeeee good seeing ya mate and well done for getting so far :) .... MASH DAT DP! ;) Adz good seeing ya too, wish I stayed and played some casuals with you both but I didn't know I'd get this far and had made plans.
