** OFFICIAL Football Manager 2012 Thread **

I am starting to get the impression I could say I am keeping his wife happy in a press conference and Darren Fletcher would still be pleased with my comments.

United going really well, won every game so far :)

Picked up a few injuries, but who ever has come in is playing really well.

Really pees me off, the fashionable name for man utd "united"... shows complete disrespect to all the other united's, such as newcastle and leeds, and now since the mega bucks injection they have decided to call man city "city"... dim wits... do they think manchester is the home of football or something?

How dare you miss out Scunthorpe in your list of other united's. Blatant disrespect.

Cry me a ****ing river.

Running as Gunnage now after realising the board would give out cash.... so in an effort to destroy all things Wenger out went:

Ryo Miyaichi, Frimpong, Koscienly, Gibbs, Djourou, Arshavin, Sagna, Almunia, Chamakh, Mannone, Rosicky, Fabianski, Walcott and Song for roughly 60m quid.

That cash, plus promising the board the world I signed:

Edinson Cavani 30m, Benedikt Howedes 18m, Phil Jagielka 17.5m, Balazs Dzsudszak 20m, Jack Rodwell 21.5m, Marek Hamsik 26.5m, Marouane Fellaini 22m, Ezequiel Lavezzi 28.5m, Mario Gotze 45m, Glen Johnson 25m and Giorgio Chiellini 72m ... a tidy sum of 326m blown on a team that leaves me with Sczeney in goal as I forget I needed a keeper :D

Still we are going all out attack in order to put the Gunners back on the map.

How many games have you started mehuk??

And how exactly did you get 326m to spend?

Only probably 5 or so... PSG, Juve, Vitesse... and now Arsenal as games ive actually got into iirc. Possibly some others :D

As for 326m... I got 49m for saying id win the league, plus my sales income.. then I spread everything over 24months.

Then as you go along, adjust the transfer budget to £0 or as low as it goes, so the board let you offer silly wages and when each deal comes in, just adjust budget as you go.

My wage bill is just under 1.9m per, and the budget is 1.5m per... so I eeked that out nicely too.

Long term things wont be prety, but short term and short term success should let me have a few years of doing this before the amount of repayments will cripple me :D

Yes, Manchester is the home of football.
