560Ti 2GB: EVGA reference vs Gainward Phantom

Technically these are pretty much the same card. The biggest difference is that the EVGA version uses the reference cooler and the Gainward version has it's own, huge, 2.5 slot cooler. As it's so big, I wouldn't be able to fit another GPU in my case, thus ruling out any potential SLI action in the future.

This topic is about silence though. I hear the Gainward card is really quiet, but what about the EVGA? Does anyone have any experience with reference 560Ti noise levels and what're they like?

depends on your motherboard spacing

I have the 570 version of that cooler. Not ad. Not good either.

MSI and Gigabyte have the best coolers and CS
 
I was initially considering the MSI card but I'm not entirely sure it's going to fit in my case. MSI's website says it's 238mm long, does anyone know if that's just PCB length or to the tip of the cooler?

its 238mm to the tip if the cooler, just measured mine. Also the power cable go in the back of the card not the side so that may be an issue if you dont have much room.
