So I'm building a PC for Christmas (including a monitor, I need a new monitor) with the primary goal of playing BF3, ME3, Skyrim, Witcher 2 & LOTR: War in the North.

I've spent a whole bunch of time putting this build together and I've ran it past some friends who are far more in the know than I am. I know I've only got an i3 in there, but I do intend to upgrade that up to whatever I can sometime next year.

Yeah that looks good, a few tweaks possible,

320GB HDD - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=HD-101-SA&groupid=701&catid=14&subcat=768

Z68 board - http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=MB-364-GI&groupid=701&catid=5&subcat=1990

But if your buying at xmas then hopefully the harddrive prices may sort themselves out a bit.

Is there a point in a Z68 or P67 if you're only getting the i3?

I would suggest for the i5. It does give you possiblity in future to upgrade to an i5 and Overclock it.

If you wanted to save money though id go for a H61/H67 Motherboard and spend more on the GPU. A GTX 560 (ti) would see you right for those games.

Thanks for the tips :)

Hopefully the HDD prices sort themselves out..a couple of months ago that 500GB HDD was only £31-£39.
