Owwww! Keeps crashing when joining a server

Just making some adjustments then gonna join the server when a slot is available 1st trip out on BF3 MP guys, gan canny and divvent shoot uz!

Hmmm I've been sat here 90 minutes now trying to get the damn thing to work, can't even do SP ffs.

It worked perfectly yesterday and I haven't used the computer since.

Time to reinstall graphics drivers...

Have you got anything like Steam running that could have an overlay that might causing problems?

I'd try closing everything else in case it is affecting it.

After playing BF3 I really am not getting much love for the game. Just does not feel right, I can't see me pumping many hours into this game.

BFBC2 is much more fun to play.

BF3 will be the first out of the series (I've bought them all since 1942) I wish I did not buy.

In a round just now, had to quit as it was lagging so badly (again), bit like that song, one step forward, two steps back.

I installed the 10.9 cap 4 for ATI, fixed my stuttering. Game runes baby butt smooth now. I also disabled USB legacy in BIOS as I read that can fix it, so it could be that too.

Definitely in need of a patch, and new drivers. The amount of lag on every server ive played today has been terrible. And im still getting a bit of flashing on screen when playing.

I've had a green screen flash on one or two maps but nothing else. Not sure why some are having a lot of crashes with it. Seems a bit like Fallout 3 which works fine for some and really unstable for others.

Yep, the green flashing is a pretty common issue, effects both amd and nvidia cards. Tbf, ive had very few crashes, just the severe lag that is really annoying.

I'm sure it's been stated already, but does anyone else get a complete BF3 crash which leaves everything else on your computer unresponsive until you end process in task manager?

It seems to happen after 3-4 hours of gameplay.

Been playing last 3 days in this (42) clan server every 5minutes someone is banned for "game hack" its insane how many people are hacking. Just hope that punk buster keeps catching them.

Cant see punkbuster getting all of them, probably the most useless peice of junk inflicted on pc gamers. In bfbc2 it done more harm to legitimate players due to the amount of crashes it caused.

Yes you can.

Not all of them. I was on that caspian map sat inside the AA gun and I couldnt shoot down the big tree that was right next to me so that I could get a better view.

Agreed on PB. Being a PITA would be somewhat acceptable if it actually stopped exploiters, but it's a chocolate fireguard in that respect also.

At least VAC is a pretty serious thing to mess with. VAC banned = byebye all your games online for VAC servers.
