Finding now that more and more people unlock the mortar, they just sit back and constantly fire them at random spawn sites, very frustrating. Preferred it in BFBC where you had to be in site of the target!
On a side note, played the map where the attackers have to base jump off of the ledge for the first time last night - now that made me smile!!

the only way to stop rocket spam is to nerf the unit significantly ie if the rocket is in your loadout you get less ammo all around. you run slower and aiming is slower with your primary weapon. only by making it such a pain to carry around all the time will stop so many people just auto picking and abusing it...there need to be big penalties just to stop everyone running round with it regardless if there are vehicles threats or not..
So many times last night I died when I could have taken out 4 or 5 people but those dog tags are soooo appealing
Same here. That awkward moment when your knife seems to be made of rubber, only for the other guy to turn around and shoot you in the face
The other day I was in a knife battle with another guy who didn't quite get it either, the result being us stabbing in the air for at least 5 full seconds, was hilarious...

it's no big deal to me, BUT
when you see people firing their rpg first and then swap to their primary to finish someone off, i somehow feel they don't understand the game properly
but each to their own i guess
i do it the other way around.. empty the clip - then switch to rpg if still not dead ( or handgun ) but usually my handgun is spent if i find that situation.
or if Im shooting at someone in a house- i know iv wounded them but can no longer see them so ill throw an rpg there way to seal the deal...
does anyone else find c.border really kills your fps? I only have a 5850 clocked to 810/1100 so im sure its holding me back a little but i get a good 60fps most of the time with a dip to around 40 on other maps as well. Sometimes i dont know if its just lag tho
You only have 17 SMAW kills and 8 RPG kills, so you couldn't have been spamming that much.
I rocket spammed for like 2-3 rounds because I was at the end of my tether dying to them all the time and I've got 31 SMAW kills and 17 RPG kills.

yeah the mortars are pretty silly - I got attacked within 3 seconds of the start of the game!

I've had so many opportunites to knife people, but i bottle it incase they turn around and kill me, so i just fire a **** load of lead into them.

Just in case anyone is still having trouble with Origin, if you go to the General tab in Settings and scroll down you can now update to the 'pre release version'

Hit reg is fine, the problem is server lag, but because on hardcore you kill people quicker, it won't seem as bad.

Haha that would have been funny to watch! I spent about 5 mins sneaking up on some guy last night, was funny.. I was running from rock to rock waiting, looking round the corner crawling up a little more... Anyway I got all up behind him was about to knife him and someone from his squad spawned on him and I knifed that guy not him, he just turned around and killed me! I wanted his tags so got in a jeep, drove where I thought he was, forgot about his exact location and just jumped out the jeep. He heart and turned around and was looking as this jeep with no one driving it going super fast, I'm running at him all like come at me bro and he head shotted me and left that location

I think the knife has a small bug, not sure if this has been discussed already. I can soldier up to somewhow who is led down on the floor, stab them and it does nothing, similar I can stealth up to someone crouching, try and stab them once, twice, three times a Russian and they turn around and shoot me. Mini cut scene is quite amusing when u knife someone though.
Still plenty of issues in the game I hope they'll address soon

i had a camping sniper in our base on Damavand on the last objectives, all I had to do was spawn in the chopper at the top, get out and base jump and land just behind him and his tags were as good as mine.
I got him 3 seconds before the round ended, so lucky.
In normal mode that is not my experience. I would rather have them all a bit more powerful, more towards the hardcore way of doing it. But maybe I'd better stick with HC mode from now on as the health regeneration annoys me sometimes too. I get so many kill assists, it's ridiculous.
Will be a bit more on the TFU servers, though I guess that means getting owned as the quality of players seems much higher there. Then again I don't care about my crappy stats (K/D of about 0.65, but I always play for the objective), just want to have some fun play.
