Eggs! You can win eggs which isn't as bad as it sounds really, they're not so easy to find in the wild.

You can also win gold tools, iron/gold ore and at high levels diamonds.

Just sounds like the difficulty ramp may be too high. Maxi has worked on an updated config which we may implement soon.

May also work on a larger arena as that one is fairly compact.

I played the other day with some moons and got past the 3rd boss. The game starts off really easy now due to health regen. But towards the end you don't have enough time to regen. Makes the chef class kinda redundant now. I got a.bunch of gold items and I think that was fair for the level I reached.

Assuming you're wanting to build on the 1.7 map (1.8 is better in some ways, but less hassle for when the new version of MC comes out)....

i think im in 1.8 now, went through the portal. Acrros some sandstone mine/dessert, past a funky vine treehouse and headded into the sunset. Now in a 2 sqaure hole with no light.

almsot got blowen up, but survived. come on morning.

is there a way to set or craft a new spawning point?

I wouldn't worry too much about dying as you have infinite /homes atm.
Just type '/set home blah' every so often.

I'm literally starting fresh,only learnt last night how to make a pick using the workbench

What is the best way for me to start?

Are there any servers that are brand new and offer all players starting together to work together to build things?

Do I add to other peoples creations or build my own?

Did every server/level start out as jsut raw materials and get built up from scratch?

Is everything man made created by people? e.g. even things like stoves, teleporters etc

Again, join this server! Doesn't matter if you're new, you can still find a bit of land and build yourself a house. If you want to build things together you'll either need a friend or ask about and see if someone is interested (either on here or on the server).

Build your own, unless someone is ok with you making changes/additions to their build.

Every server starts out as a just a normal landscape, grass, trees, etc. You gather/mine resources to make stuff
