Advice Please

Hi,

Im looking to buy a new motherboard and cpu. I have decided to go down the i5 route as i'll only be using my PC to play games and watch movies and Ive been told the only real difference between this and an i7 is hyperthreading.

I have two boards in mind

Gigabyte Motherboard GA-Z68XP-UD3P

Asus P8Z68-V Intel Z68 S1155 Motherboard

Ill be matching it with a gigabyte gtx570 soc and 8 gb of ram and a 120gb ssd, maybe SLI in a years time when my bank balance has recovered, So any advice would be appreciated.

I am trying to make exactly the same decision.

Why go with the Gigabyte over the Asus? Which is the best/most stable for overclocking?

I'm going Asus P8Z68 V/Gen3,I prefer the UEFI BIOS it has plus the 16 (12+4)phase should help with overclocking,also has better layout epecially if you use PCI-E sound card with SLI/Crossfire.
