I'm with DeathCube, if I want to spend a match sniping, I will do.

But by the same token If I want to go throwing myself into the line of fire dishing out ammo or trying to revive dead soldiers I'll do that too.
Just like If I fancy having a go in the helicopter or the jet, I'll suck major balls at it, but so what?

Apparently, cracking group Razor1911 has released a bypass so that you don't have to use Origin to play BF3

lol. I've not even played as recon yet, but surely every time a recon kills an enemy player that person doesn't kill you/cap a point/arm an mcom. What's this constant feeling that because they're sitting on a hill and not lobbing you medpacks or ammo that they are absolutely useless and offer nothing to the team.

I've got a mate who's unlocked the SOFLAM as Recon and I can't wait to team up with him as an Engineer with a Javlin to take out air and land vehicles.

In BC2 it was one shot one kill with a bolt action?

I've killed plenty of people with one shot on normal with the SV98... It just takes a headshot, easy! You must be way too far away

I don't think there is one, which is a bit fail when the 1st 30 servers in the browser all turn up locked.

EA could make pb ban for a modified .exe if they wanted, I'd guess.
Probably not worth the risk.

Agreed, not worth risking. I don't mind origin anyway. But for those who only want to play single player...

what would be the point? its only paying customers who can use it anyway as you still need to login for battlenet/battlegate whatever ea are calling it

Well it would be against the t and c's to use modified code. They would maybe ban your cdkey and make you buy another game/cdkey. People would as well, just not worth the risk of shelling out another £30 to play it again lol

You think they care? They already have your money. Given any excuse they can do whatever the hell they want. By-passing origin on a non-pb game would be fine, but as soon as you have something which scans for any modifications to the game clients integrity, you risk being banned, unless they state otherwise.
