Battlefield 3 thread - Server details in opening post -

How much disk space does this game need guys anyone know?

Thought about getting a SSD just for this game,because loading times are very slow....even with it installed on my raid 0 drives.

Reckon it would fit on a 30-40gb SSD if i picked one up cheap used?

Ends up at 11GB or so, but will want ~25GB free while its downloading and installing

I know what you mean but back in the day when we hosted several BF2 servers of all flavours I was never seen on the 64 player one after the first week. Maybe its just me, but I simply couldnt take it, it was to much. I prefer the pace of the 32 player maps, even if on 64 player map size.

We have added some conq small and large maps to our rotation now and its bloody fantastic tbh. BF3 is so many times more fun than BF2 ever was for me.
 
Im getting mad lag when i stab someone it turns into a 3 fps slideshow for the duration of the animation.... any ideas?

I do get flashes of green from time to time but haven't noticed any today while playing for an hour or so.

Am really liking the mk11 mod0 with ACOG scope - makes for a good compromise between distance and CQ take downs - that plus a laser module for hip firing rambo moments :0
