I am still unsure about whether to use K+M for jets or my logitech controller for jets

They both seem to have advantage and disadvantage.

K+M lets me look around the map while in cockpit more easily and this makes it easier to see where enemy jets are in relation to my position. Also shooting down enemy jets with cannon is much easier with mouse (more accuracy)

With controller it is much easier and flexible for jet manoeuvring but at the same time I find it more difficult to keep a steady aim on the enemy jet.

Can never join a server on the first go, always works there after though...

Hmm, when i load a server iv found, if i open the game too fast after it starts minimized then it doesnt load just a blank black screen, but if you give it 5 seconds after it starts in task bar, its fine apart from that im yet to find a bug lol, i must be lucky.

360 pad and you will own like my good self, and you can look around the cockpit with a pad, down on D-pad and stick to look around.

Iv used mouse in bf2 all the time, i got a expencive joystick with all the acceleration controll job, but couldnt use it to save my life lol.

And iv almost got all my jet unlocks after playing in the jet for about 3 hours according to battle log. it took some getting used to, its totally different to battlefield 2,

On battlefield 2, the maps are so spread out that your not getting targeted all the time by aa or stingers, but just fly up to 1000 altitude then slow down as much as possible, aim at things from a distance and destroy them.

Does anyone know if the bf3 code you get with a 2700k is the limited edition or not?

Also can you get the extras that come with the limited edition if you buy the normal one?

Right finally got my server all setup and running.

If anyone is free at the moment need to try and get it populated to test out if there are any issues with the vehicles causing lag.

Hmmm I have been thinking of purchasing 360 controller.

With my logitech dual action controller, I have set the cockpit look around to d-pad but it is snailpace lol.

Tip, get yourself the 360 pad and the Xpadder software, up the dead zone sensitivity and you will own like a pro after a few days practice.

The MAV is a lot of fun to spend an entire round playing with; but it's a shame the trade off is your stats... finishing 0/0 with bad SPM is just too much a compromise, which is a shame since it's clearly something that has a massive sway on the outcome.

Honestly these games would be better if they tracked nothing, didn't even have a scoreboard at the end, you just won that game or you didn't.

Stats are meaningless, play for fun.

Who cares about stats if you are having fun? You don't win any awards with a good k/d ratio

Well if you mean in game you kind of do with awards ?

But I'm too competitive and sitting on mumble with people saying "LOL 1ST" when you know you could just play a certain way to take that off them is too much of a temptation.

I wouldn't mind really If I had no friends

Definitely laggy on 64 slot servers, every 64 slot server i've been on has been laggy, latest was Bronken and i was rubberbanding whilst flying.

Every server I have been on since the game out, even 32 player servers, has suffered with lag or rubberbanding. Even the servers advertised on these boards are the same for me. I was begining to think it was my set up, but I've just tried BFBC2 and it runs as sweet as anything.
