My Auntie came from America and she bought me two pairs of trainers.. both Adidas size UK 11 (US 11.5)

They should fit as ive always worn size 11 trainers for many years now.. however they are too small :( i don't really want to make her take them back to America as it will take up luggage space etc.. and she had already purchased extra luggage space to bring these gifts..

anyway i would like to know if it was possible to buy a size 12 of the internet then put the American pair in the box of the UK pair and return them. will this work or will they find out through the bar codes etc..

p.s i have to order them online from a UK store as they only stock size 11 and below in store.

Any help is appreciated! :(
 
They are too small becaue a US11 will be a UK10.

Unlucky, you won't be able to swap them with a uk pair as they will know you have sent the wrong size back.

Cut your toes off tbh.

they are size uk 11 as i asked for size US 11.5 which is UK 11

Christ on a bike! Stop treating him like a serious fraudster!

Just sounds like an innocent mistake to me and he's after advice. OP, just sell them on and get what you want here.

Take them back to the Adidas shop and say here are my shoes they are wrong size they are size 10 and I need size 11, they will say dont you mean size 11.5 then you will say no I need size 11. When they get you new shoes they will have size 11 in their head so you will get the new shoes.

I have done this twice now and am banned from all Adidas.
 
Fully star out please.If you sold something, and it was returned, only for it to not be the original item, but a similar one, would you tolerate it?

By all means sell them, but what he is asking is if we think he will get away with ripping off a retailer by returning a good that, once the mistake is spotted, they wouldn't be able to then sell - effectivly stealing a pair of shoes. I really hope you just havn't understood what hes saying, rather than being ok with that because "he can get away with it".
