Whats temps U Getting peeps?

Just wondered if mine is normal?

The 560 ti runs at 28-30 c at tickover/web usage.

BUT,
Within 3-4min of starting to play BF3, It quickly jumps upto 70-72 c.(on air)

Now is that high and have I bought a bad one?

Cool, Nice one.
Was abit worried after reading a few reviews stating under extreme testing they got around 55 c.

Think Im gonna have to look into WC as the cpu fan goes nuts when running BF3 and is loud(to me) Then again I can here a bug fart at 10ft and can watch my tv with volume set as low as 2 or 3 at night, which is great for watching porn. :lol

NOW SBS 3D Porn on a 46" samsung led tv is well.................Intense, just watchout for the money shot, thought I was gonna have to wipe my br player down. :lol

3D Womens bits, great, BUT 3d mens bits a no no.......

doesn't seem very good for that supposedly good cooler, i have 2 of the palit 2gb cards in sli and they hit 72c max in bf3 although usually are around 65-69, my mobo does have quite good spacing though

Most reviews seem to say around the 55ish under max load testing.

Now lastnight a tried again running BF3 and manually set the fans on GTX to 70% which aint so quiet and even at that and best I could do is 60-65c

I also noticed that when the saving page loads between Campaigns, the temp drops down around 8-10c within 1-2 seconds?

All using MSI Afterburner program

Thanks mate, have edited now :)

Still looks like 5 lines to me ;)

PS. Maybe reduce text size!?

PPS. Regarding temps. The difference could easily be explained away by different ambient temperature and case cooling. I certainly would not be worried about low 70's.
Though if running Afterburner, I'd check that the "auto" fan option is selected and that the fans are ramping up as they should. For some reason I've had this option in Afterburner switch itself off a couple of times for no reason! and my fans then stayed at 40%! One good reason to run Afterburners OSD (On Screen Display) in games.

Yep... that's how I got caught and rather than a polite warning, I got a kick up the backside (so to speak).

Have got OSD Running, but only showing time, temps and another set of no.s below temps, but doesnt say what these numbers are, guessing maybe fps as they jump all over the place, from as low as 30ish to upto 150ish, wish I knew what they actually were.

If you look in settings/monitoring, you should be able to see / work out what's set to be displayed in the OSD.

Found it, thanks.

Have also setup user defined fan to temp speed. Got it running at 65% fan speed from 50-65c, which still didnt stop it from going upto 65c quickly from start of the game, but did stop it going any higher.
FPS going from around 50 all way upto 178 depending on the scene/video, but mostly bouncing between around 70-105 in the game

Good show.

With those sort of frame rates I'd be tempted to stick vsync on in the game. A personal choice though that.

Will give it ago mate, What benefit can I expect?
Also, after reading another thread the otherday I have changed all setting to ultra and switched off the 4MSAA Deferred setting and set post to medium, switched off motion blur and ambient occlusion.

Im running at 1920x1080p on 46" samsung 3d tv.

.

Will cap the frame rate at 60FPS and prevent any "screen tearing"
see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Screen_tearing
Debatable whether frame rates over this are even detectable by the human eye.

Quoting again from good old Wikipedia

"A culture of competition has arisen among game enthusiasts with regard to frame rates, with players striving to obtain the highest FPS possible, due to their utility in demonstrating a system's power and efficiency. Indeed, many benchmarks (such as 3DMark) released by the marketing departments of hardware manufacturers and published in hardware reviews focus on the FPS measurement. Even though the typical LCD monitors of today are locked at 60 FPS, making extremely high frame rates impossible to see in realtime, playthroughs of game “timedemos” at hundreds or thousands of FPS for benchmarking purposes are still common."
